 What's New

We're excited to share the latest updates to Olari! This release introduces several new capabilities to help your team work more efficiently and maintain compliance.

🧪 Lab Test Results

You can now record, track, and manage lab tests directly within the client chart.

• Record test results — Add results for any configured test type (e.g., urine drug screen, pregnancy, blood alcohol content) with the correct result options displayed automatically.
• View test history — A new Lab Tests section in the Client Chart shows all results sorted most-recent-first, with the ability to add or edit directly from the list.
• Configure your tests — Administrators can define custom test names and types to match your facility's specific panels and protocols as well as who needs to sign test results.
• Capture signatures — Optionally collect client and staff signatures on lab tests. A staff signature locks the record to prevent further edits.
• Schedule and assign tests — Set up lab tests as scheduled or ad-hoc Tasks. Completing a task opens the associated test record automatically.
• Print results — Export and print lab test records including signatures and notes.

💊 Medication Dispensing

Track medication dispensing, refusals, and audits with a full audit trail. New option on the Client Chart Medications tab.

• Log dispensing events — Record when medications are taken, refused, not present, or audited. Capture quantity dispensed, quantity remaining, and optional staff/client signatures.
• Smart defaults — New log entries automatically default the dispensed quantity from the most recent entry (within 7 days), and a button calculates the remaining quantity for you.
• Capture signatures — Optionally collect client and staff signatures on dispensing/audit logs. A signature locks the record to prevent further edits.
• Configure your signatures - Administrators can configure who needs to sign dispensing/audit events.
• Print and filter — Filter the medication log by date range and print selected records for compliance documentation.

📋 Program Management

A new dedicated page under the Clients menu for managing Homework, Meeting, Class turn-ins and Job assignments for programs that use these features.

• At-a-glance overview — See all active enrollments with columns for program/stage, days enrolled, current job, last assignment, last class, and meeting counts (weekly, by stage, and total).
• Quick data entry — Add assignments, classes, meeting counts, and jobs directly from the page without navigating away.
• Filter and search — Filter by program, stage, or job. Search across client names and text columns.

💰 Claims & Billing

• Manual claim adjustments — Write off denied claims without requiring a remittance. A new Claim State column and enhanced audit logging provide full traceability of manual adjustments.
• AR Aging report - new page to review Accounts Receivable Aging and manage the corresponding Claims.

📊 Reporting

• Real-time report status — The Report Downloads page now shows "Submitted" and "Running" statuses with automatic refresh every 3 seconds, so you always know where your report stands.
